Your magical day: welcoming family and friends into your own haven under mature cottonwoods and redstone cliffs; your ceremony surrounded by lush green grasses and stands of apple trees; the solitude and celebration tinted by the gentle sound of the North St. Vrain River; your friends relaxing among historic ranch buildings, an outdoor bar, and colorful wildflower gardens; your guests enjoying an elegant meal and dancing in the beautiful Wildflower Pavilion.

From early spring thru late fall, the 20-acre Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, CO is available for wedding rentals on most weekends. Located just 25-minutes north of Boulder (midway between Boulder and Estes Park), the historic ranch property includes the entire riverfront of the North St. Vrain, east of the Lyons bridges on Highway 36. 

The grounds feature dozens of mature cottonwoods, many varieties of apple trees, a sandy riverfront beach, and numerous secluded areas along the St. Vrain River and its beautiful backdrop of hundred foot redstone cliffs. The wildflower and perennial gardens add continuously changing colors to the landscape.

Our 4,800 square foot Wildflower Pavillion features state-of-the art wood and steel construction that blends with the natural setting of the Planet Bluegrass Ranch. The contemporary polished concrete provides a natural, comfortable footing and again blurs the line between nature and an indoor setting. The Pavilion features a state-of-the-art sound system featuring Meyer Sound CQ-1 speakers - the same speakers used by Carnegie Hall, Dave Matthews Band, and Luciano Pavarotti.
